We have found out that we are expecting another boy! We are so excited and I imagine that Braxton will love having a little brother to play with! We don't have any boy names we are considering yet so please feel free to e-mail me any ideas.

Baby #2

Come check out my new blog at BeingGenevieve.com

We are happy to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family! I am due on September 12th shortly after we move to Logan, Utah for Kevin's masters program. I am not very excited to move while I am that large and uncomfortable, but it probably is best to move before he/she comes than after he/she comes. We find out if it is a boy or girl on April 18th and I will post what we find out.

Governor's Ball

Come check out my new blog at BeingGenevieve.com

The Governor's Ball is a celebration for the inauguration of the Governor. It is held every 4 years and is so much fun to attend. It was especially fun this year because Justin and Wendy their children, Stacey and Justin their children, Brent and Julie, and Kevin, Braxton and I were all able to make it. We missed Michael and Monica and their children, but hope they can make it next time. Brent, my father-in-law, was recently voted in as the President Pro-Tempore and his conference room was where all the appetizers were being served. We all just had fun eating and socializing in his office.

Braxton went with Grandpa and Grandma through the presession and had a great time.

December 2010

Come check out my new blog at BeingGenevieve.com

These are a few things I made in December. . .
This is the tree skirt I made for our Christmas tree. I have been wanting to make one since we got married. It took forever to applique all of the holly leaves on, but I am happy with how it turned out.

This is a table runner that I made with the extra fabric from my tree skirt.
I made these height boards for my sisters, that have children, for Christmas. This way they can measure and mark how their kids are growing. (The saying along the side I used is, "The Time Has Come To Stand A Little Taller -Gordon B. Hinckley)

This is a purse/scripture bag that I made for Ruby for Christmas. She is just like me and LOVES purses. You can never have too many purses.
Braxton on Christmas morning with some of his new gifts, his turtle and his Toy Story chair. His turtle projects stars on his ceiling at night and his shell glows. He has become scared of the dark and this is a perfect nightlight that he loves.
